Weddings, receptions and reunions at Waunita Hot Springs Ranch
Waunita Hot Springs Ranch is where wedding dreams come true. Entertain your guests in the shadow of Tomichi Dome located 26 miles from Gunnison Colorado in the Rocky Mountains. We invite you into our home — your home away from home — surrounded by unbelievable beauty and recreational enjoyment.
You may reserve the ranch for your reunions, weddings and receptions. We can comfortably
accommodate 100+ guests outdoors and 80+ guests indoors. The entire property becomes
yours to relax and reconnect with family and friends. Our ranch provides a beautiful
atmosphere for your wedding ceremony and/or reception, and additionally makes a perfect
place for your other events such as rehearsal dinner, BBQ, brunch, or simple family gatherings.
Your guests will find the historical main lodge and hillside lodge accommodations to be comfortable, individually decorated, all with private baths to house approximately 50 guests. This is a great option for the destination wedding. Guests may choose to set up a tent and camp on the grounds if all lodge rooms fill up.
We are happy to work with you to make this the wedding of your dreams. We are able to offer
a couple of different packages, a site only package where you provide your meal(s) and a site
package where we provide your meal(s). Packages can include: Ceremony site, reception site,
barn loft (can be used for dancing, back up wedding site, meeting room, etc.), basic linen
service, chairs & tables, event staff, menu, appetizers, tea, water, coffee, lemonade,
use of all grounds, and hot springs pool. We invite you to give us the opportunity to talk
with you about your ideas.
For your overnight guests their lodging rate includes a full hot breakfast plus they can enjoy coffee and hot beverages, raiding the fridge for juice, tea, punch and milk, and helping themselves to a variety of snacks in the dining room anytime. Guests can also enjoy the natural hot springs fed pool - truly a favorite pastime at the ranch. Activities we can offer for an additional charge could include horseback riding, massage, hayride, live music, and/or a square dance. These activities would need to be prearranged.
If you choose Waunita for your wedding site we will discuss fees and deposits. Once we
agree on these things we will require a deposit to hold the date for your wedding. Upon receiving
your deposit and your time is reserved we will have you sign a contract as to the dates of
further payments. All deposits and payments made are non-refundable due to cancelation
unless we rebook your date. Sales taxes are not included in the rates.
